Aline Lidwell was born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised in a creative family with a love of adventure. Her playful imagination and curiosity was nurtured in a childhood full of opportunity to explore and play. Together with her siblings, they created whole worlds and many imaginary friends. These now come alive in her delightful illustrations and stories. Her father gave her her first box of watercolours, so she could paint with him whilst walking in the hills. She has never stopped. Her stories are full of fun and life and will both encourage and inspire.
