Author Biography

Sara Pinto is the author/illustrator of The Number Garden and The Alphabet Room, Apples and Oranges, Clockwise and the illustrator of Rozanne Gold's Kids Cook 1-2-3. She and her husband have two sons and divide their time between Vermont and Scotland. Beatrice Colin is the author of several highly acclaimed novels for adults including The Glimmer Palace, which was a Richard and Judy Pick in the UK under its UK title, The Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite. She also writes plays and for newspapers and journals in the UK. This is her first book for children. She has two children and lives in Scotland.
