Description

This title is suitable for children of ages 3 to 9 years. This book centres around a young girl named Kerri Ann who, one day, tells her mom she needs a new best friend because the ones she has are all busy. She sets off around the neighbourhood, encountering a number of people, but just can't find anyone to fill that void and becomes discouraged. As she heads back home she suddenly becomes aware of her shadow - following her every move, staying with her no matter what - and realises she can be her own best friend.

Author Biography:

Kimberly Rogers-Busboom is a registered nurse specializing in critical care. She is currently completing her journey to become a certified integrative life coach, and is also certified in wellness coaching. Kim grew up as a childhood diabetic, and was the recipient of a kidney/pancreas transplant in 2001. Her journey in discovering the hidden treasures found within her own inner wisdom has inspired a vision with endless possibilities.
