If you loved the Myst series, you're better off avoiding this one and keeping those good memories intact. If you love clever puzzles and plots, and interesting characters best avoid this one too. While this game shares some of the pretty vistas of other Myst games, it really is nothing like them. This game felt like a big leap backwards, the navigation is terrible and graphics noticeably worse (other than your original Myst, which is so old now it can be forgiven for that). There are main characters who bleat on about nothing in particular while you sit there just about fainting from boredom, and if you have to listen to it more than once because you think you might have missed something, it's torture. When not listening to the speeches, you can navigate around on a very poor interface and look at the seriously bad graphic mistakes, scenes not matching up, colour changes for no reason, poor integration, you name it. The whole thing looks and feels like a cheap rip-off of the Myst games. Might be okay for kids who have fairly low expectations of gaming, but not for the serious adventure gamer.
