It's meant to be the true story of the ned kelly legend, apparently he wanted to be a stage magician and accidently fell arse backwards into a life of crime. All the actors are excellent, Governor Sinclair is one of the best comic performances I've ever seen. If you like your comedy a little edgy and different (think South Park & Naked Gun) but with down under sensibilities (I was reminded a couple of times of Peter Jackson's early style of comedy, i.e the shootout in the street) you should love it.
