"Best driving platform but..."
4 stars"

Everything about the game is simply awsome. The graphics, the cars, the scenery, the whole lot! Just one catch though. No mater how you tune your car, THEY ARE FASTER THAN YOU. So this is a game more of skills than pure speed like the GT (Grand Turismo) series. In GT, you simply buy the fastest car after many races and youve got half the game beat. But however with NFS: MW, you MUST be able to DRIVE like a PRO!

SKILLS REQUIRED ← drill those words into your heads before you think that this is another game where speed beats all. Infact, speed is only a helping factor to this game. Have speed and no handling, you're gonna get busted. Have little speed and ample handling, you're gonna be choking on 95 octane exhaust. Even though if you have the fastest car with the best handling in the race, it does not mean you will win. Just remeber! THERE ARE COPS IN THIS GAME OUT TO TAKE YOU DOWN NO MATTER WHAT! They will smash through traffic, fly through air (not really) to take you and your speeding possys down!

This game isn't one of those games where you win by +10 seconds. This is a game where you win by a split second…or get busted. See if you're a speed freak with no skills or a skilled driver able to turn turns at high speeds, dodge oncoming traffic at over 200k/ph and outrrun the police and become the most notorious!

WARNING: THIS GAME IS NOT FOR (SUITABLE) WALLRIDERS!

Well, I picked up the game on a whim, as I am sometimes wont to do. I'm impressed. The turning is spot on, a major improvement from Underground Rivals. This game might've been made better with the inclusion of the free-roaming city, but seeing as I havn't played Most Wanted for the PS2 yet, I can't really comment. Now, the only thing I wished they had improved has gone unchanged, if not made worse. It's when you head-to-tail a car while travelling at about 60k/h and you flip end over end 7 times, basically meaning, if you crash, you lose (later on, at least, and especially in time trials). Also, after a while, the cops can get REALLY annoying in the later time trials. overall, it's a great portable game, probably my favourite PSP game right now (now that I have 100% in LCS).

"Portable Version lets down."

I pretty much bought this game so I could rule the streets while im on them…

Funly enough, I was confused with the game when all the reviews or write ups about it were the same…

I guess you just had to figure it out on your own that there are differences between console gaming and portable gaming. In this version it is ‘cut’ to the basics and the ‘jyst’ of the game with no street mode where you can roam around and the fun additives to the console versions such as tollbooth knockout arent available.

Gameplay is rather repetitive without the fun of being able to do your own thing but im guessing they made it with battery life in mind.
