Description

For years, Stefan Pfeiffer (b. 1981 in Schwedt; lives and works in Berlin) painted realist and hyperrealist pictures, portraits, and still lifes. Since 2012, the artist, who is a student in Thomas Zipp's master class, has not only explored substantial questions of abstraction and figuration, he has also probed the premises and possibilities of painting. Pfeiffer's first monograph contains essays by Zdenek Felix, Marcus Hurttig, and Gertrude Wagenfeld-Pleister.
