Author Biography:

Award-winning chef Neven Maguire is a celebrated name in Irish cookery. His passion for food and his friendly attitude have captured the hearts of his many fans. Neven began cooking at the age of 12 in his family's restaurant, before gaining experience in Michelin-starred kitchens throughout Europe. Since 2003 he has been proprietor and head chef of MacNean House & Restaurant in County Cavan, Ireland, voted Ireland's Best Restaurant 2008 at the prestigious Food & Wine Magazine awards. He has appeared on many international TV programmes, including Open House, 10 of the Best, Neven Cooks, Cooking with Love, and of course, Neven's Food from the Sun. Neven lives in County Cavan with his wife Amelda and is the author of five cookbooks.
