This book was absoloutley brilliant, the story was excellent and the characters are really awesome. Elena, is ment to be with Stefan but Damon definetley needs Elena to show him he is a good person (Vampire) deep down, even if he does not wish to admit it to anyone most of all himself.

The 5th Book in the Vampire Diaries series. This book is great if it didn't drag on as long as it did. This book is more of a let dow compared to the other 4 books in the series. Damon is possessed by a demon and is not himself which really gets you going because he denies that there isn't anything wrong with himself. Stefan is absent in this book as he is taken away by force. Elena is not as gifted as before. Bonnie, Meredith and Matt do all that they can to protect Elena. This book is is great for Fang lovers or romantics.

Must be a good book my daughter hardly had her nose out of the book until it was finished then read the rest of the series and is now eager to buy the series on paperback so can read anytime she likes.
Love this book, these are great stories, highly recommended
An enjoyable storyline, recommend reading first books in series before this one though so that you can get all the best details of the characters and the history.
