Produced by Grammy and Emmy Award-nominated arranger/composer Rob Mathes, ‘Nine In The Afternoon’ is the first taste of the young rock- outfits second record “Pretty. Odd. ”, the follow up to the band’s platinum-certified 2005 debut “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out”.
Panic At The Disco was introduced to NZ with the single ‘The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide ..’. This song peaked at #20 at POP and 50 overall radio.
It was the 2nd single ‘I Write Sins, Not Tragedies’ that broke them in this territory. This song peaked at #1 at POP, #9 overall radio and spent an enormous 12 weeks on the Top 40 singles chart. ‘But Its Better If You Do’ was also a radio smash and peaked at #1 POP, #12 overall radio and spent 14 weeks on the Top 40 singles chart.
