As a hardcore SoulsBorne fan, this game ticks all the boxes – yet also stands as it's own beast. The loot system is a throwback to Diablo, the fast combat to Bloodborne, the art direction to Onimusha. Nioh is beautifully made, plays well and is the right level of challenge (punishing, but also doable with determination). I'm 10 hours down and have loved every second of it.

Great game with challenging gameplay and some really challenging post game missions. Really cool choice of fighting/weapon styles/option­s/upgrade pat­hs.

Brilliant game, best thing since Bloodborne.

Dark Soul fans will love Nioh.

You dare not say its a copy of Dark Souls, its amazing on its own way. A modern masterpiece of a game and a gem on PS4's helm… Its really hard at first yet so addictive, but each enemy you defeat makes you stronger with amrita and loot, first boss took me 4 hrs of replay to defeat but after that its like a breeze. Just be careful with your moves and inventory management you'll be the best ‘Ajin’…

Just astonishing. Initially written off as just “Dark Souls with Ninjas”, this is so much more than that. Brutal, satisfying combat, great graphics, HUGE levels and so much stuff to see and do – this one will keep you going for months!

If you like this genre this game is a must play.
