He is also a composer having written the scores for numerous TV and radio productions as well as the hit West End stage shows "Our Man Crichton" and "The Solid Gold Cadillac". His hit songs include "Kinky Boots" and "Goodness Gracious Me" recorded by Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren for which he won the coveted Ivor Novello award.
