The art style in this game really emphasises the Mythic era of Japan and is highlighted by the skills within the game. Tried it out because I was a bit tired of western art style and I definitely was not disappointed with the story. Only downside was the audio for the characters which spoke gibberish and a long introduction (skippable). Recommended for those who enjoys myths and adventure/action games with a bit of puzzles.
In Okami, players take on the role of Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu, a wolf-like deity who sets off on an adventure to restore a world decimated by evil to its original glory. The game explores Japanese folklore and features a visual style based on sumi-e ink painting.
