Description

Standing at the dockside on a dreary foggy morning with his father, Huw Evans held his life's belongs in the rather shabby sea bag his father had secured for him. His new home would be the sea and he would be leaving dockside as a young lad of only fourteen. Soon this young boy would mature to do a man's duty in the Royal Navy as a midshipman and eventually as a young officer. Blood would be lost in battle, the sea would roar in storm and torrent, and every day would be a new and exciting adventure, as well as a time of danger. Travel with Huw as he leaves his home in Wales to move to England, experiences a lost sea battle and a Caribbean jail, to his Mediterranean exploits and eventually on to the green forests and fresh waters of North America where he continues to do his duty serving his country and king.
