I'm a huge fan of Kings of Leon and have all of their albums. It's easy to see why “Only by the Night” gained the band so much attention – as well as the first two hugely successful singles released, every other song really demonstrate the band's unique talent. The album has a great pace and it's one that I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing. Fantastic!!!
Only By the Night has to be one of my favorite albums of all time.
It features so many great songs including the haunting “Closer”, the radio hits like “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody”, and one of my personal favorites, “Cold Desert”.
Only By the Night, is a must for all music lovers.
In my opinion “Only By the Night” is the best KOL album, matched only by there previous album “Because of the Times”.
There isn't a single song on the album that I don't like. They go from the awesomely haunting “Closer” through the radio hits like “Sex on Fire” & “Use Somebody”, and finally slowing things down a bit, with the beautiful “Cold Desert”.
I would highly recommend Only By the Night to all music lovers.
