Sharon can hardly believe it. Di Di, her two-year-old brother, has been taken to China to spend a year with their grandparents. Why can't he go to nursery school, or be watched by a babysitter if Mum has to go back to work? But Sharon's parents say that it's better for relatives to take care of little children.Then, one day, he is home again and it feels as though a stranger has entered their lives. The children struggle to make sense of their mixed emotions, but soon discover that the bond between siblings still holds strong.
