The development in information technology has made drastic changes in the way the information is collected, stored, retrieved, and distributed. E-Resources are one of the products of Information and Communication Technologies. Academic libraries in India are in a transition period due to the economic environment and increase in price of E-Resources. Open Access Electronic Resources are also playing an important role in facilitating information access.
