I absolutely love this series. It's hilarious. For its genre, it's definitely, by far, my favourite. I came across this gem some months ago online, and after reading up to a certain three-digit chapter, I decided to start buying the offline copies of the series' volumes. This first volume tells the story of the beginnings of the title's main character (MC), Mafuyu Kurosaki – a former-delinquent high schooler. What I like about this MC is that she isn't the typical heroine found in other stories within this genre; the ditsy, hopeless, damsel-in-distress who is only guided by her emotions through a reverse-harem-themed storyline. This MC is tough (both spirit-wise and physically), has a good head on her shoulders, and has a strong sense of justice. She has moments of clumsiness, but that adds to the comedic nature of the manga. This volume introduces two other important characters – both male. Romance isn't a focus in this manga – though there are tiny hints here and there – but I absolutely don't mind. If you're looking for a shoujo manga with a strong, female MC in hilarious situations, then this is a must-read.
