Description

This text provides an analysis of forms of organizational subversion, including "absenteeism", humour and the politics of sexuality. The authors criticize orthodox organizational analysis and map out the terrain across which organizational "misbehaviour" occurs. They examine the interaction between the pursuit of self-interest and the processes of "identity formation" by workgroups and argue that the tendency to misbehave is deeply embedded in organizational life.
