It is pretty disappointing when you have read the book series before the TV series.
Elena/Katherine had blonde hair. Katherine was supposedly burnt by the sun instead of being burnt in a locked church. Stefan and Damon killed one another by stabbing each other over Katherine.
I thought L.J.SMith could at least kept the original thought instead of writing the T.V Series version.
