Marianne Berkes has spent much of her life with children as a teacher, children's theatre director and children's librarian. She retired to write full time and visit schools, libraries and literary conferences. Marianne is the author of twenty published picture books for children. Jill Dubin's whimsical art has appeared in over 30 children's books. Her cut paper illustrations reflect her interest in combining colour, pattern and texture.
