It's B. Akerlund's love of fashion design that drove her at the age of fourteen from her native Stockholm to Los Angeles. It was there where she met many influential individuals that helped shape her destiny as a costume designer/stylist and set her path toward success in the film, fashion, and music industry. B. began thriving in the community, collaborating with notable directors such as Jonas Akerlund,Tony Scott, Paul Hunter, David LaChapelle, and Traktor. It has been her signature "over the top" look that has attracted an assortment of today's most daring fashion forward musicians to add to her client list: Beyonce, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Blondie, and the Black Eyed Peas, to name a few. They have all been fascinated by her unique ability to indulge each one of their stylistic tastes.
