Jacques M. Chevalier is Chancellor's Professor Emeritus in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, and an independent consultant. Daniel J. Buckles, formerly with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, and an independent consultant.
