"A Great Puzzle Game For Those Seeking Great Two-Player Experienc"

I would liken it to a variation of tetris, not just because it has tetrominoes, but because you are competing with your other player for shared pieces, but it's up to you as to how you place them on your own board. This jigsaw mechanic satisfies the puzzler in us all while maintaining strong competitive play. Set-up is nice and simple, which makes it great for a quick evening game.

"A great game for two players."

On the surface, Patchwork is a simple concept. Create a patchwork quilt using polyomino shapes each costing the games points and currency, buttons. The winner is the player with the most buttons. However; the added complexity of time, player position, difficult shapes and button management make this a very deep and enjoyable game indeed. With a relatively short playtime of 30 minutes or so and a low intensity, it's a great game to pull out on a quiet afternoon with a friend. Despite its complexity, young children (6+) can also enjoy this game, even if its teaming up with a parent. There is no required reading, simple addition and subtraction, and the bright colours, shapes and subject matter make it enjoyable for all.

"Great game, easy to learn and fun to play"

Our whole family has enjoyed this game. Its really simple to learn the rules and it has a great balance of strategy and luck as you try and fit the pieces on your player board. I highly recommend it.

Patchwork is a form of needlework that involves sewing together pieces of fabric into a larger design. In the past, it was a way to make use of leftover pieces of cloth to create clothing and quilts. Today, patchwork is a form of art, in which the designers use precious fabrics to create beautiful textiles. The use of uneven pieces of fabric in particular can result in real masterpieces and is therefore being practiced by a large number of textile artists.

To create a beautiful quilt, however, requires effort and time, but the available patches just do not want to fit together. So choose your patches carefully and keep a healthy supply of buttons to not only finish your quilt, but to make it better and more beautiful than your opponent's.
