Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill play opposite each other superbly, their respective characters cunning and guile is matched equally move for move by the other. This is a family story, well its a story about a family… a family of lovable rogues who rule Birmingham post WW1. Its a story of power and manipulation, of drive and of greed, of love and family. If you like a movie that makes you think and keeps you riveted, then this is the series for you. I LOVE IT.

Reminds me of Deadwood (my benchmark). Great soundtrack. Acting and story believable. Recommended, I have just purchased series 2 & 3.

Loved it right from the start.
The best
Peaky Blinders has two series that rate among the best crime dramas I have seen. Cast is really excellent, storylines tight and moving – top rated. Looking forward to Season 3.
