It would have been a foregone conclusion the man had been responsible for the death of a woman found buried in that very field beneath the snow, had he himself not also become a victim on a growing list of suspicious deaths. The baffling question at the heart of this case: were these murders staged as incredulous suicides, or suicides staged as elaborate murders?
