Author Biography:

Yuri Balashov teaches Philosophy at the University of Georgia, USA. He has published extensively in the leading Philosophy and Philosophy of Science journals. Alex Rosenberg teaches Philosophy at Duke University. His books include Philosophy of Science: A Contemporary Introduction (Routledge, 2000) and The Philosophy of Social Science (1995). In 1993 he won the Lakatos Prize in the Philosophy of Science
