Pitch Perfect is a musical comedy starring Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick as Beca. The new college student gets pulled into the not-so-quiet world of college acappella as part of the school’s all-female singing group. She encourages her peers to abandon their old-fashioned arrangements, in favour of trendy mash-ups featuring excerpts from tunes both old and new.
The soundtrack is all acappella and is a mix of mash ups and covers- using material from Jessie J ‘Price Tag’, Neyo ‘Give Me Everything’, Cee Lo Green ‘Bright Lights’ to the classics – Blackstreet ‘No Diggity’, Simple Minds ‘Don’t You’, Dead or Alive ‘Right Round’.
