Point it out by a marginal note, flating alfo where neceifary, what he conceived to be the proper amendment or addition. He hopes that the great labour bellowed by him upon this work, is fome fmall claim to the favour and proteetion of his readers. Juft cenfure he ought not, and does not with to avert: but he trufis that the li beral' and ingenuous will fhield him from unde ferved condemnation.
