Pokemon HeartGold Version (+ Pokewalker accessory) previews

All of us old Pokemon players will remember Pokemon Gold and Silver from years ago, released on the GBC. The memories I had on there were lost when my Gold's battery ran dry.

Now we can play Gold and Silver again, improved to the new standard. Updated with better graphics, the new pokemon and moves, and compatibility with Diamond/Pearl/Pla­tinum. There are also a lot of new changes that really make HeartGold and SoulSilver shine.

Now the first Pokemon in your party follows you, it's pointless, yes, but is quite cute. There is a new wireless device called the Pokewalker, which is a pedometer which gives your Pokemon experience points while you walk.

You can get the original legendaries in the game, meaning Ho-oh, Lugia, Raikou, Entei and Suicune. There are also a lot of new additions, you can get Kyogre or Groudon in HeartGold or SoulSilver respectively and if you trade both of them onto one game you can get a Rayquaza!

You can get a Lv1 Dialga, Palkia or Giratina with a special event Arceus. The legendary birds and Mewtwo from Kanto are also in the game. The last mentions are Latias and Latios, who can be found roaming about, like the legendary dogs.

The PokeGear is back, and so is the phone system. Now you can rematch trainers you've battled before if they call you. The Battle Frontier from Platinum is in this game, copied almost exactly from Platinum.

This is a great game, for those who have played Gold or Silver or for those who haven't. HeartGold and SoulSilver are amazing additions to the Pokemon series. When you can't think of anything wrong with the games, you start to wonder how Nintendo would ever top these games.

As we all know these two games are the remakes of the 2000 favourites Pokemon Gold and Silver..The question is (provided you haven't already played the Japanese version) what they have instore for us. We shall all walk through Johto doing what we do best..In terms of gameplay it has top notch graphics, new and old features and all your favourite Pokemon all the way from gen1 to gen4 practically on there. If you are a Pokemon fan it won't be missing from your orders list.

When i found out that the two best pokemon games(my opinon) were being remade i could not belive it,with the brand new poke walker, the touch screen bag and on top of that pokemon walk behind you!!!, i could not wait until this game was released, considering it sold record numbers when it was relesed in Japan i think this could arguably be in the top 10 most highly anticipated and best selling games of 2010.

I didn't even have to think about pre ordering this game, having played the game on GBC how could I not buy the version for the DS. If it's anything like the old GBC games and the newer DS games (which ofcourse it will be better) it is a sure must have.

I remember when the pokemon tv show first came out in 1997. I also remember when crystal and gold came out. I spent most of my childhood playing those 2 games, and now that they are out for ds i can bring back the memories. I reckon this will be a must for all Old and New Pokemon Players.

Awesome… Awesome..... Awesome. When i heard this was coming out I went crazy. The gold and silver games had the best story lines out of them all. The thing I liked about gold and silver was the fact that it was so much longer than the other ones because you could go to Kanto once you had beaten the Jhoto elite four. I hope they also make a remake of Crystal as well that would be AWESOME

This game was awesome and i got it from japan! Now I'm getting soul silver because i loved it so much!! beautiful fun gameplay for hours and hours!
