Can not wait for this and alpha sapphire to come out, pokemon games are never a let down. I have played almost every pokemon game on offer and if this game is anything like the rest it will be AMAZING!!

Buy this game and I personally promise you hours of fun!

Hopefully MA can do a bundle including a 2 or 3DS and one of the new pokemon games, eg. Red 2DS and alpha sapphire for $210-$220.

BUY THIS AND ENJOY!!!11!1!1!1!

"New + Old = Awesome"
5 stars"

This game is shaping up well from the trickle of information and videos that Nintendo is putting out. OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire are remakes of the 3rd generation of Pokemon games (Ruby and Sapphire) which originally came out on Gameboy Advance, but they are far more than the typical remaster. The games have been completely remade in 3D to take advantage of the 3DS' hardware.

This version will support all 719 Pokemon plus the new Mega Evolution forms that have been announced, however like in previous games, you will need to trade with and own other games in the series to actually catch all of the Pokemon. Transferring Pokemon from the previous titles: Pokemon X and Y to the new ones, is made easier this time with the Pokemon Bank, a cheap(ish) subscription service which allows you to store Pokemon independently from the games. Though trading between games using two 3DS consoles is still necessary if you want to transfer items (such as Mega Stones necessary for Mega Evolution) across with the Pokemon.

New players and old fans of the series will find lots to enjoy in this game, with a faithful remaster of the beloved Hoenn region with new and old Pokemon. The cover mascots (Grouden and Kyogre) feature new Primal forms, and the storyline from the original games looks like it will be largely the same. Gamefreak have made excellent remakes before (FireRed & LeafGreen and HeartGold & SoulSilver) so we can expect to see good improvements over the original games.
