Meet Pikachu, an Electric-type Pokmon that has the power to zap opponents with electricity. Ash is Pikachus trainer and after a stubborn first encounter as well as the occasional accidental zap, the two grow to become best friends! Known to live in forested areas in groups, Pikachu communicate amongst themselves with squeaks and tail-shaking as friendly gestures. Pikachu will raise its tail to check its surroundings, though they can be occasionally struck by lightning in this position. When foraging for berries, Pikachu will roast them with electricity, making them more delicious to eat, though it is easy for these to be burnt to a crisp.
