I purchased this box set for my primary aged children who want to learn how to play Pokemon. I think the best aspect of this set is the play by play instructions for your very first game. The deck is pre-arranged and there is a booklet for each player. The players only need to know how to read in order to play their first match. If you are new, I think this is a great way to get into the game.
I also like the playmate which is included. It has both directions embedded as well as placeholders for all of the cards.
I highly recommend this box for new players.
