The classic Batman television show took popular culture by storm, showcasing for the first time in live-action the colorful world of DC Comics’ iconic universe of characters.
Besides the campy banter and tilted cameras the show introduced THE car as the Batmobile was realized for the first time in real life. This kit originally issued when the show first aired was a best seller at the time. Though it had been out of production for some time, Polar Lights was able to acquire the tools to bring it back to the hungry modeling audience. This special release of the kit feature the ultra-rare purple color schemed box lid from the very first issue of the model. Along with this rarely seen artwork, new in-scale resin figures are included that feature character and actor accurate sculpts.
