Author Biography:

Craig Brandist is Professor of Cultural Theory and Intellectual History and Director of the Bakhtin Centre at the University of Sheffield. Katya Chown is Lecturer in Russian at Leeds University and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield.
