Author Biography

Stephanie Genz is Senior Lecturer in Media and Culture at Edge Hill University. She specializes in contemporary gender and cultural theory. Her publications include Postfemininities in Popular Culture, Postfeminist Gothic: Critical Interventions in Contemporary Culture and articles in Feminist Theory, Gothic Studies and The Journal of Popular Culture. Benjamin A. Brabon is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Edge Hill University. He specializes in late-eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, popular culture and male subjectivity. His publications include The Influence of Benedict Anderson and Key Concepts in Popular Culture.
