Approximately 49% of the U.S. adult population currently shoulders or soon will shoulder elder care responsibilities. For the past seven years Shelly Beach and her husband have been caregivers for their parents. At present, they have two parents living with them. Author Biography

Shelly Beach is a freelance writer, public speaker, and author of "Ambushed By Grace," " It Is Well with My Soul," and the 2008 Christy Award-winning novel, "Hallie's Heart." She is the founder of the Cedar Falls Christian Writers' Workshop in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Shelly and her husband, Dan, have two children and live in Sparta, Michigan.
