"A classic that never grows old"
5 stars"

I want to thank Ellen Read, the author of “The Dragon Sleeps” for recommending this book to me. I loved the story and the way Jane Austen sent me into this era, that I knew nothing about. The language, the manners, the way they thought. We all know the story of this notorious classic, so I will leave it there, but out of all the Jane Austen books, if you haven't read any, pick this one up and I can guarantee you will fall in love with the pompous and pride of Mr Darcy and head strong willingness of Elizabeth. Highly recommend this book to all classic lovers and historical fiction fans.

Description

This ironic novel of manners follows the tale of Elizabeth Bennett and her prejudice for her suitor Darcy. The delineations of middle-class attitudes, moral firmness and the author's sense of comic and satirical ridicule make "Pride and Prejudice" one of the enduring classics.
