Author Biography

Award-winning and best-selling author and illustrator Anna Pignataro has created over forty books for children. Winner of the Crichton Award for Book Illustration in 1998, Anna has been shortlisted for picture book of the year with both the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) and YABBA, and her books have been selected by the CBCA as Notable Books in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009! Her popular books Always and Together and her Princess and Fairy series, with its make-believe world of rabbits, are enjoyed in many different languages and Anna loves touring with them each year, meeting and talking to hundreds of children. Along with many classics and favourites, Anna's Princess and Fairy is included in the Kids Top 50 books voted by Australian children nationwide.
