The purpose of this book is to help you relax, to help you explore your own imagination, and to help you bring alive some of your favorite characters. I like to call these princesses, princes, and others my own "semi-original characters," because they're my own original artwork; fairy tales, on the other hand, are common property. Who hasn't wished for their own happily ever after, whatever form that takes for them? I'm a full time novelist by day, artist by night, and over the years I've found myself weaving themes from different fairy tales into my stories; the idea came to me, why not tell a different kind of story? And so the first few sketches in this series were born. I hope you have as much fun finishing them as I did starting them. And if you finish one (or twenty!) you really like, please share it with me on my Facebook page! Where you can also see more of my art, as well as learn about my latest activities and events. https: //www.facebook.com/pjfoxart/ Because this book is different, more open than many coloring books, you may have to try a different approach. But remember: there is no wrong approach! The "right" approach is the one that works best for you. If you decide to try markers, however, or if you're one of those pencil wielders who tends to press particularly hard, you might want to place a sheet or two of paper between the page you're coloring and the one under it. Or, indeed, you can disassemble this book entirely! The only limit is your ever-expanding imagination! As a final note, on the next page you'll find a table of contents. I identified each of my characters here, rather than on each page, because my ideas are only guidelines! You may look at a character and think, I disagree with P.J., this looks like someone else. Which is absolutely fine, because this is your book. Label, or don't label, each new creation however you wish.
