From her first published book in 1976, Babette Cole has reigned supreme amongst picture book authors and illustrators. All her new books are publishing events and she has a huge following from children around the world. Her anarchic sense of humour and fun guarantee her sales, whether her books are about horses, motorbike-riding princesses or bad manners. Her books for Puffin include Princess Smartypants, Prince Cinders and Cupid. Babette lives in Dorset with her many horses.
