For the past 20 years, Kathy Kenley has lived on the border of Wharton State Forest in the southern end of the expansive Pine Barrens. Kenley has guided numerous trips in the area's lakes, rivers, and bays, is an avid kayak racer, and is an active member of the Jersey Shore Sea Kayak Association.
