Rails 3 is a full stack, open source web framework powered by Ruby and this book is an introduction to it. Author Biography:

Yehuda Katz works on Merb and Rails 3 for Engine Yard. He also heads up the jQuery plugin development team. Yehuda is the coauthor of jQuery in Action and a contributor to Ruby in Practice. Ryan Bigg, aka "Radar" on Freenode IRC, is a web developer and living and working in Australia. A professional Rails developer since 2006, Ryan blogs at http://ryanbigg.com.
