Pet Vets will allow players to treat animals as if they were a veterinarian at an animal clinic. There will be several dog models, 2 or 3 breeds of cats, plus other animals, such as an iguana, parrot and rabbit. The number of cases per animal varies, but there will be at least 15 different animal models and about 30 different cases total.
Players progress in the game by successfully treating animals. As their skills increase they learn new ranks, unlocking new tools in the process. One human character (a vet technician) will advise the player as their assistant. There will be three levels of difficulty that the player can choose from.
Three rooms of the veterinary clinic are represented.
The Waiting Room (waiting patients, computer, notebook, phone / answering machine, trophy case).
Treatment Room (with a large variety of medical tools)
Recovery Room (with many caring functions (bandage changing, application of medications, food and water, clean kennel, clean body, enhance pet's "morale").
