M., on Wednesday, June 2oth, in the Parliamentary Buildings, Toronto. The Commissioners were - the Hon. W. P. Howland, Z. R. Brockway, Esq., and James N oxon, Esq. Hon. W. P. Howland, was, on motion, unanimously chosen Chairman of the Commission. Messrs. Richardson, Bradley and Lumsden were appointed Secretaries and Short-hand writers. Hon. Mr. Hardy appeared on behalf of the Government. Hon. Mr. Wells represented the Company. Mr. Langmuir, Inspector of Prisons, was in attendance.
