The main story was decent and wrongfully criticised as being ‘short’. All resident evil games so far to date can be completed under an hour so this game is definitely not shorter than any other that came before. Resident Evil Resistance though, this game made me get on every night, continue to work on my different builds as mastermind to try eliminate any combinations of survivors in any maps. Massive fun when you like building customizations and strategies against other players through a puzzle gauntlet of your design. On the other hand, it's also fun to be a survivor – get the right equipments and passive skills to cater for different masterminds in different maps. Get on a mic with your friends to try survive the customised dungeons, facing the familiar favourite enemies from RE series e.g. G1, Mr X, zombs and lickers etc.

Much better than the Resident Evil 2 remake, I was a bit hesitant about buying this as I was disappointed with 2 remake but really glad I got this game
Great game Great graphics 10/10 must buy
After playing RE2 I had to get this. While I really enjoyed the story and gameplay it didn’t quite feel long enough. I also agree that that the games dodge was very sporadic.

This should be an expansion to re2 at best. I was going really slow, exploring every corner of the game and it still only took 7 hours. On average its about 4 hours long. For a game that costs $95, its a bit of a ripoff. I would wait until its about $25, then it would be value for money. It’s a shame because all they had to do, was remake the original the way it was and it would have been an instant success. But instead, they cut many parts from the original game and rushed it out for some reason, stupid.
Bought this for my partners birthday and he is very excited to get into it after he finishes another game! Very excited when he opened it.
Feels more like a bridge built to go between 2 and 4. A lot of changes to the original that kill a bit of the nostalgia factor. All in all was a fun game none the less
