This version of riverdance is the most excellent I have seen! Jean Butler and Colin Dunne set the stage alight with a magnificent display of Irish dancing! I also love the “American Wake” set which is not in the original Riverdance (The Michael Flatley/Jean Butler Version). This presentation is, in my opinion, superior to the Geneva 2002 Riverdance DVD. The performances are just a lot more flawless and the dancers are more talented. Some of the film quality is a little bit bad, but that's to be expected as this was recorded in 1996. If I had to choose out of the two Riverdance DVDs available, I would pick this one hands down! This DVD also contains three performances that are not on any of the other versions, namely “Oscail an Doras” (which is a very brilliant song and dance), and two new Spanish-type dances with Maria Pages. I highly recommend this DVD!!!!!!!!
