Author Biography

Author Steve Zautke was raised in the shadow of another historic track, the Milwaukee Mile, and has been a lifelong fan of all types of auto racing. Steve's first professional job in racing was in track safety as an EMT. He has written features for many motorsport magazines, such as Victory Lane and the Harry Miller Club Newsletter. Additionally, Steve has worked as the historian and on special projects for the Milwaukee Mile. He cohosts a motorsports-based radio show and is executive editor at RacingNation.com.
