This keyboard has a nice quailty frame, with the top half being metal and the bottom half being plastic. It uses TTC Brown switches which are a Cherry MX clone. The keys are plastic and feel very nice. This does have the full keyboard layout which seems to be unpopular in the mechanical keyboard community, but is exactly what I was wanting. Once you start up the light show this thing becomes the center of attention. The default light is a scrolling rainbow effect which I'm currently using, but you can program your own lighting effects using the software it comes with. The lights are extremely vibrant, the video does not do this thing justice it is just so damn good. Obviously there are cheaper options out there, Roccat is known to have a premium price but once you test this thing out any regret you might have had spending 200+ on a keyboard will disappear. This is my first mechanical keyboard and has suckered me into the hobby I once thought absurd.
