Really enjoyed the TV program a while ago, so, to revisit “Rome: Empire Without Limit” at home on this DVD was a real bonus. I was able to linger on scenes and commentary in a much more leisurely way. Mary Beard's skill as an historian is without peer, clear and well researched facts which are easy to understand, said in her engaging manner. I recommend this documentary to all.
